The Dock works well. I've been using it with a hard drive and a SSD for a couple of weeks. Then I found that when I tried to use a second HD, it would not show up on the computer. No power light, etc. It seems that one of the bays will only mount the SSD, while the other one will mount both the HD and the SSD. I don't know if it was always like this because I've always mounted the HD in the rear-most bay (bay 1) and the SSD iin the foremost bay (bay 2). Anyway I'll be having it replaced. Tech service and customer service (sales) were very helpful. Otherwise this is a really handy device and I recommend it. I'm using a 2017 Retina 5K iMac. Transfer speed are more than ample for me via the Thunderbolt interface that I have.
