Not much to tell. Mercury Elite Pro disks have always been solid performers. This latest model is even better (quieter, fast, etc.). Ordering was easy and quick, and delivery prompt. The new disk is happily keeping Time Machine backups on my iMac, right now.

The sales rep was very helpful and the product she recommended solved my problem, the enclosure works perfectly with my hard drive. I hope the power switch on this one lasts a long time. It failed on my old Mercury Elite Pro and I lost all my back ups. This one cost a lot more than other enclosures but the fire wire 800 connectivity was exactly what I needed.

The product performs as expected. Was delivered on time and at the expected amount. The drive didn't include a USB type B to Type A cable even though it says included on the box side panel.
