Well worth the discounted price. Features and functionality as expected, easy to provision with HDs and formatted with Mac Drive Utility for use as RAID 1 (mirrored) once I followed the OWC step by step instructions. I bought a 3rd drive as a hedge against a future drive failure since drives need to be same in a mirrored configuration.

This Drive case/system is very nice, great construction (real metal), and support to eSATA,. I have eSATA on several computers, and several external drives that also support it too. Some think it's old tech, but according to your motherboard hardware, they are just another drive on the system, and are boot-able if you need. If you want to use the drives separately you need to have a "port replicator" card (or built in), in eSATA But if using it as a RAID it just works fine. The only caution is when you change the RAID setting is it will delete the partitions completely, so back-up first. I am very happy with this device.
