I wanted to expand the storage of my old but still useful Macbook Pro. I should have done this upgrade long time ago. The add-up of storage let me now use this laptop as a great backup tool for files and music finally. I took the old drive out and replaced it by the Aura Pro out of the box and restore the Mac with a Usb thumb drive as usual. My big surprise was the amelioration of write and read speeds (15-20% faster). The expansion carry case let me use the old original Apple part to share files between teamwork and friends. Thanks Owc, the options on the market for that specific type of drive were few and I spot the one that beat them all.
