Select OWC external drive assemblies are formatted as a SoftRAID volume and shipped with a SoftRAID license. Using SoftRAID with these assemblies helps ensure proper performance. These products have a sticker adhered giving notice that SoftRAID should be downloaded, installed, and used with the device. The sticker can be safely be removed.
