Please note that when setting your Mac or PC to sleep while the Helios FX series device is connected, the behavior for each system is slightly different. When a connected Windows 10 system sleeps, the power LED and main fan on the eGPU will also power off, almost immediately (e.g. within 2-3 seconds). However when a connected macOS system sleeps, the LED and fan on the eGPU will continue running for ~ 20 to 30 seconds before powering off. The exact amount of time may vary some depending on the exact combination of host computer and OS version.
