In a bit of sad news this afternoon, it has been reported that Leonard Nimoy, most famous for his portrayal of Mr. Spock in TV and film’s “Star Trek”, has passed away at the age of 83.
It goes without saying that this is a heavy loss for those who loved the characters he played and the man himself. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Leonard Nimoy’s friends and family.
Nimoy and his contribution both on and off screen will not be forgotten. We will leave you with Nimoy’s touching Twitter post from Feb. 22 including a signoff of his celebrated “Live Long and Prosper” phrase from Star Trek:
A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP
