Boy Scouts from Camp Lakota were given a look at OWC’s environmental efforts during an educational tour of the company’s LEED Platinum Certified facility on Friday. Tour guide OWC Ryan showed the Scouts OWC’s campus including the energy-efficient warehouse, our recycling processes and the on-site Vestas V39-500 kW wind turbine. The Scouts were also shown a video and participated in a Q&A session.
But the Boy Scouts of America weren’t the only visitors to take a tour of OWC’s Woodstock campus at 8 Galaxy Way on Friday.
With Macstock taking place just down the road from OWC’s headquarters, members of appleJAC Macintosh USER Group from Jefferson City, Mo. stopped by for a visit while in town for the conference. Members Tom Piper, George Kopp and Mark Snell were also given a tour of OWC’s campus.
