The upgrade kit includes all of the tools you need to make the upgrade. And now, MacSales.com has a video with step-by-step instructions showing you how to install your new drive no matter which version of PS4 you have.
Add Big Storage
The OWC DIY Upgrade Kit for PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro allows owners to quadruple storage and boost performance with an OWC drive. DIY bundles include everything needed to upgrade or replace the existing 2.5″ drive and transfer gaming data to the new drive. The original drive can also be converted to an external drive using the included enclosure.
Future-Proof Your PS4
Augment your PS4, PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro’s storage capacity and performance in one quick upgrade. With gaming downloads often as large as 50GB, a factory-installed drive can be maxed out quickly. Quadrupling the storage of the PS4 means that gaming and media storage will no longer be a problem.
Warranty Safe Upgrade
This is a user serviceable part, according to Sony, that will not void your PlayStation 4’s warranty.

Pricing and Availability:
OWC’s DIY drive upgrade for PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro is now available.
As of March 9th, 2017, it gets even more interesting. Firmware 4.50 brings with it the option to use external storage for your games. You can now use up to whatever sized 3.5″ drive you can snag and put into an external enclosure (or SSD if you really want to double up on fast storage).
So now not only can you use one of these kits, you can grab another HD and say, an enclosure from OWC, and boost your space that way. And you can switch back and forth between the internal and external storage, as your game saves are saved to internal storage (so if your external dies, your game saves are safe, though you should still practice good backup habits).
Now you can have your cake AND pie!
