Wireless Charging May Not Be the Answer

We have many great conveniences today, so is it necessary or beneficial for wireless power to be one of them? Outside of sealed, low power devices where a physical connection would be a detriment, I would personally say no. The little things add up, and wireless charging could be an unneeded step back for a world trying to address its carbon footprint.

Beware of Gift Card Scams

Christmas may be over, but that doesn't mean that online scammers have stopped trying to use the holidays as an excuse to separate you and your money. One of the more nefarious scams hit close to home today when my wife received an email from an acquaintance who she barely knows. "Vague but exciting" were the words that his boss, Mike Sendall, wrote at the top of his submission. And so the World Wide Web was born – as a vague concept of document sharing based on a distributed hypertext system.

Adobe Creative Cloud Folder with text saying "Creative Cloud 2020"

Adobe Creative Cloud 2020

Earlier this week, Adobe launched the latest version of the Creative Cloud suite, CC 2020. While we plan to offer a more detailed look at a later time, including the possibility of a couple competitive reviews (think Affinity apps), this article provides a quick overview. Overall this release is more about the improvement of existing functions and added stability and less about headline features. While that’s not as exciting to the average user, this approach is not a bad thing. For years, many long-time users complained that Adobe fell victim to the “feature bloat” trap.
