Needs More RAM

You'll have to pull the two Four(s) and install two Eight(s) to increase RAM from the then standard (8) GB RAM to (16) GB RAM for faster performance. I would recommend this item to a friend!

I upgraded and repaired 2 2010 iMacs and a 2012 Mac Mini a few years back. So, when my 2015 Macbook pro's drive failed, I assumed I could also fix it. I ran into some issues and the support from MacSales was excellent. Unfortunately, there was more wrong with it and would not recognize the replacement drive. MacSales gave me a full refund for the replacement drive kit and I decided to just buy the same model refurbished from them. It works great - better than the one I had purchased new from Apple because the hard drive is double in size and faster. When I need another computer in the future, I will be buying another used one from MacSales. This is a very reputable, honest and fair company that I will recommend to everyone. The computer is like new,

It works well, screen is great, seems to have reasonable battery life, and has the smallest barely noticeable ding in it. The delay in my response is that I had a friend pick it up from another friend in the US to bring it back to Australia. The absolutely only issue is that OWC does not ship to Australia! Operating system troubles

The computer came with OS Catalina 10.15.7. It should be able to update to OS Monterey, but fails to complete installation. I can't run many apps with so old an operating system. If I had realized it would not update beyond OS Catalina, I would not have purchased the computer. Otherwise, it is in reasonably good condition. The laptop I received from OWC is great! Very fast, works with the latest macOS (Monterey) and handles high processing tasks (e.g., statistical analyses using R Studio while messaging) like a pro.
