Good condition

The MacBook was in good condition and OS was reset, but it was still running MacOS HighSierra which wasn't able to run my programs. So I had to update the OS. Now it runs good. Great shape

My new MacBook is in great shape, with a newer system than I’ve been using. Transferring my backup drive was pretty challenging, though, since I had trouble getting SuperSuper to recognize the new hard drive. My husband finally figured it out. So, the transfer wasn’t quite as painless as it usually is. But the computer itself is working wonderfully now, and I’m happy that I upgraded for such a reasonable price. I've purchased Mac memory upgrades from OWC (macsales.com) before, but this was my first experience with buying a refurbished computer from them. I have to say I'm not disappointed. A friend needed an inexpensive laptop to use for writing, which would be compatible with her Mac Mini. We were happy to find that older MacBooks are so affordable, and work great. The battery life is also good (one reason I chose Excellent condition is that I'm hoping it's had less use, so less battery wear, than a Good condition Mac). I was told to stick with 2015 or earlier, in case a battery replacement was needed (they started gluing them in after that). But it looks like that won't be needed for a long time. The computer appears to be in better condition than described. My only issue is to be able to upgrade the OS in order to migrate from my last machine .

Great used MacBook Air

We have had our 2015 MacBook Air for just a few weeks now, but so far everything has been fine. The computer is in great shape for its age and all appears to be working well with a decent battery life. The computer was packed in a super-safe container and arrived in just a few days. We quickly upgraded the OS without a problem and then added a few programs we wanted. We have added other files and photos without no big issues, and it works well with our wi-fi and wireless printer. So far, no complaints at all, and if that holds for a year or two it will well be worth the cost. I would recommend this item to a friend! this being my first MacBook , I didn't know what to expect that being said its light and pretty quick for a older used laptop. the one gripe I have with the whole buying process is that I payed extra for quote [ very good ] product it has a big dent on the lid and body so much so the interior is open. and the dent is on the charge port side and that's iffy . but other than that its good might recommend to friends looking for a used MacBook I would recommend this item to a friend! I like Otherword Computing, and have been purchasing from them for years. Their products are really great. I bought a used Macbook Air that was offered in "Very Good Condition" I know these things are subjective, but it was in "Good" condition in my opinion. It has a couple serious deep dings bending the chassis in the corners. It was cheap and works well so far, just a little disappointing for me. I was expecting scratches and wear, not deep dents. Computer great. Can’t believe the power adapter

Someone cared for this Mac air. It’s in great shape, but the power adapter you paired with it is in horrible shape. Insulation worn. The cable so kinked and twisted it looks like someone used it for shoelaces. And the white color is nasty yellow at the connector-from I hope skin oil - and not some other biological.

Ordered this as an upgrade to my Mid 2012 MBA 11". Decided it was time to get the newer chipset and larger battery of the 13" to have better battery life. Unit arrived in excellent packaging and was in almost very good condition. What I mean is that it was perfectly clean. However, it is obvious that the unit was not new, as the screen corner (aluminum) was bent over. The unit must have take a dive off a desk in its previous life. Would I consider it unusable, no, but very good, no either. (I'm perhaps spoiled, I usually buy Apple Store refurbished, and those are indistinguishable from new) In any case, a clip on plastic cover for the laptop and I don't see it. That all said, the other reason I ordered is I was planning to upgrade to a 2TB SSD. When opened to swap drives, you could see that a new battery had been installed by OWC. So this addressed my most pressing concerns. I believe I may have received the last one in stock, which may explain the 'bent corner'. But other than that am happy with this, and expect to be using this Mac for the foreseeable future. I would recommend this item to a friend!
