So Far So Good

So far the set up went smoothly as expected, not my first Mac. Haven't really used it yet but soon. I upgraded the RAM and SSD for smoother operations. It came as if it were new and I will check the battery for ability to hold a charge, I am not afraid to change the battery if there is a problem with it, done it before. Just received my refurbished Macbook Air from OWC, and wow! The laptop was listed in excellent condition but it looks and feels brand new!
So easy to set up and came with the latest OS installed, I had been considering a new MacBook but with a savings of over $500, this can't be beat, In fact I would recommend purchasing a refurbished Mac from OWC before buying a new one.

M1 MacBook Air is great

Upgrading from a 2012 MacBook Air. Wanted an Apple CPU for performance. I used iCloud for storage so didn't need a big SSD, but I also multi-task with 20+ browser windows open at a time (or more.) Wanted/needed a unit with 16GB RAM. Most of the new MBA laptops came with 512GB storage if you specified 16GB RAM, and the price got high quickly. Found this M1 unit advertised in mint condition with 16GM RAM and 256GB SSD. And the price was half what a new unit would have been. Easy decision to buy, and the laptop was indeed in mint condition -- just what was advertised. Performance is great for what I needed, and a huge jump from the 12-year old MBA I was using previously. Happy with my "new" well used Macbook Air.

I am very happy with my "new" Macbook Air and it is working very well. However, I wouldn't say it came to me in Very Good condition. I think a better word would be just Good. It has some scratches on the outside and I think it had been dropped at one point because there is a slight dent in one of the corners. Nevertheless, it works really well, I'm happy with it and the price was right! I would recommend this item to a friend!
