The purchase has been ok. The machine has some slight cosmetic issues/blemishes that I can live with but the mouse pad is a little worn out. Also I got a little scared just a week or so after the purchase when the computer seemed to brick for a moment. It resolved itself but I'm a little nervous about the quality of the refurbished machine. Can't tell it from brand new

I've been using an old MacBook Air for travel that I simply got tired of patching together. My experiences with OWC have been nothing short of amazing, so I was thrilled to see them offering reconditioned MacBooks. I picked up an Intel MBP that I simply can't tell from brand new. For a price that rivals eBay. There isn't even a scratch on it, not that I would care if there were. It's been flawless so far, and as good as any other brand new MBP I've ever used.
I've already threatened my girlfriend with replacing her computer with a Mac. There's no way I could, with clear conscience, give her a Windows computer. And certainly not at this price. I cant keep the wifi on longer than 10/15 min and it shuts down in the middle of a file tranfer?
