    Fantastic hardware AND support!

    Wife's Mac had the dreaded Fusion Drive and it was just bogging down and taking forever to restart and run videos. Read about this problem and decided to go all SSD. Was informed I could keep the old hard drive in as extra storage, but she didn't need much storage so I pulled it out and just used the Aura 1 T. Put it all back together, got excellent customer support to reload the OS (the remote boot instructions that came with the SSD weren't working, and customer service just had me re-start with an additional key) and she fired right up. I reloaded all the files that were backed-up on a Samsung T7 SSD and it took no time at all to transfer. Man, that T7 got hot so I put it on a piece of granite with a fan to help heat sink it. Now the machine runs lightening fast. So good, I ended up replacing the HDD on my 2017 Mac that was running low on storage with an Aura 1 T also. They're both acting like new machines now. I can't recommend enough ESPECIALLY if you have a Fusion Drive. If I can do this, anyone can.

    Great Performance - challanging install for a novice - but successful !

    This was for my 2017 21.5" iMac retiina 4k. All the internals were not exactly how the video showed, and my cable connections were stubborn for my large inexperienced fingers. I had trouble with reliability after my first attempt, and tech support really hung with me to trouble shoot. I was sure I must have messed up with a cable connection. So going back in, sure enough, my main power connector socket was starting to to pull away from the board. Pressing it back into place and reassembling did the trick! Super fast and reliable now. Like a new machine! Thank you OWC for another successful upgrade!
