Getting a rebate is easy!

1. Determine your eligibility for a trade-in rebate:
• You must have purchased one or more qualifying new OWC items from MacSales.com.
• Purchases of open box, used, or clearance items are not eligible – trade-in rebates cannot be applied to these purchases.
• Make sure you are satisfied with and keeping the new item(s) you purchased.
• Your trade-in item(s) must be functional and in proper working order.
• Your trade-in item(s) must be of like-kind to the new item(s) you purchased.
• For example, if you purchase two (2) memory modules, you are eligible to trade in up to two (2) memory modules.
• The number of trade-in items cannot exceed the number of purchased items.
2. Find the item(s) you wish to trade in from the list below, and fill out the Online Rebate Form.
• You must submit your Online Rebate Form within sixty (60) days of the receipt of your new item(s).
• You will be required to sign in to your OWC Account – if you do not have an OWC Account, you must create one before you can complete your trade-in.
3. Once you have completed and submitted your Online Rebate Form, we will email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and further instructions.
4. Ship us your eligible, functional trade-in item(s) according to the instructions provided in the rebate authorization email.
5. Upon receipt, we will test your trade-in item(s) to confirm that your items are functional and in proper working order.
6. If your trade-in item(s) successfully pass testing, we will issue a rebate for the qualifying amount.
• Please allow 14 days for rebate processing.
• Rebates will be paid by your choice of PayPal, Venmo, or in-store credit.

Please note – If your trade-in item(s) do not meet rebate qualifications, your trade-in item(s) will be returned to you at your expense. OWC does not provide return shipping for trade-in item(s) that do not meet rebate qualifications.

Additional SSD Requirements

• Only original, unaltered, Apple and OWC brand drives are eligible for rebate.
• Any modification or removal of Apple or OWC factory drive labeling may void rebate eligibility.
• Your purchase item must be of equal or larger capacity than the item you wish to trade in, with one exception: You may trade in a 4.0TB OWC Aura PCIe SSD for Mac Pro (Late 2013 - Current) against the purchase of a 2.0TB or larger OWC Aura Pro X2 PCIe SSD for Mac Pro (Late 2013 - Current).
• Please note that you may require access to an Apple factory SSD to install future OS updates that include updated system firmware. In the event that you rebate your Apple SSD, OWC does offer an Apple SSD Rental Program to help enable these updates.
