- When upgrading from an AHCI SSD used in some older Mac models (2013-2014), you may observe a slight increase in boot times. Please read the support article "Aura Pro X2, Aura N SSDs: Boot Times" to learn more.
OWC Envoy Pro 1A Portable, Bus-Powered USB (10GB/s) Storage Enclosure
- Works on any USB-C port with a USB-A to USB-C adapter (available separately).
- When using the Envoy Pro 1A with drives that have a heatsink, the cover of the Envoy Pro 1A will need to remain off. However, prolonged use without the cover is not recommended. NOTE: Removing the heat sink to apply the Envoy Pro 1A cover is not supported and may void the drive manufacture warranty. Please review the warranty information of the heat sink drive desired for installation.

I can use it in an external case (Thunderbolt) just fine, but mounted in a Mac Pro 2013 ("Trash can") it doesn't work at all. The Mac just doesn't see it. I have tried in both my Mac Pro 2013 with same result.
