The pictures are a little misleading. This is a round piece of thin rubber with adhesive on the back. The pictures in the description show it attached to a base. I thought the base was part of the product and lifted your computer up and gave you more clearance for cooling and air flow. You could get a package of rubber feet at Home Depot for less and save on the shipping costs. It does work to keep your computer from slipping.

We'll get the accolades out of the way first; OWC is one of three of my favorite outlets for used computers. I praise them quite a bit; no exception here. As for the title, I love tinkering with old mac pros, (3 cheese graters thus far, this is my virginal foray into 6,1). I am going to need an apple/ m2 NVME adapter and compatible 4T stick. Hopefully, I'll be able to glean the web for the info I require. I have respect for the new macs; my personal caveat is the need more/pay more ethos, and the fact that the products don't seem to be as vetted as they used to be,(out the door far quicker than reputation should allow.) But I digress. Older macs are fun to work with; It is not the destination; "tis the journey that calls."
