This article applies to Internal SATA cables with 7 pin to 7 pin connectors.
The straight cable will work in any environment where there are no impediments near the port you're targeting.
The right-angled cable is good for scenarios where you need the cable to bend downwards in order to get clearance.
The left-angled cable is useful in scenarios where you need the cable to bend upwards in order to get clearance.
