Christmas is just around the corner, but there’s still plenty of time for you to get your order from OWC in time, if you act quickly.
If you order from us and have your package shipped UPS or FedEx Ground tracked services (non-postal supported), about 80% of those in the contiguous USA receive delivery from us within 1 to 3 days. Our online system gives pretty safe estimates during checkout for the different ground options and for most, orders placed today or tomorrow via the above Ground Shipping methods should have no problem reaching you by Friday and still have a little extra buffer for weather or other carrier-related delays.
Not quite sure what you want yet, and can use a little time? Second Day Air service, which delivers on weekdays, is available through Wednesday for delivery by Friday. Shipping options from FedEx and UPS ordered before 10:30PM on Wednesday can still be there by Friday.
For those of you who like to cut it a little closer, we also have Overnight/Next Day weekday delivery services available from OWC for FedEx and UPS options on orders placed before about 8PM on Thursday (though it may even run as late as 10:30PM for many locations) to still be there on Friday.
And for those of you who want to wait until the absolute last minute – Orders placed before 7:30PM on Friday can be shipped Overnight with Saturday Delivery for arrival just in time.
While we always recommend ordering early so you have as much of buffer as possible (you never know when a freak storm will hit), we’re here for those last minute needs too. We process and ship fast, so—weather permitting—your order should arrive fast as well.
Of course, if having by Friday isn’t an absolute must, our Free Ground Shipping promotion on orders $29 and up continues through midnight on Wednesday, December 21.

As a loyal OWC customer who has not received my orders placed on Dec 6th, the article title is a slap in the face.
Must of the advertised shipping time and costs are for domestic customers, but for your international customers, OWC shipping offers and fees are terrible. (I am talking continental Europe)
I would like to order more stuff, but the punitive shipping costs are making the sale impossible.
Please have a look at your competitors, which have opened a European store, selling the items in Euro, but more important cut the shipping times and fees in half !
Your stuff is terrific, but put a stronger effort and challenge UPS, Fedex and USPS on their shipping fees.

We work hard to have the most competitive delivery rates available and part of the reason why we offer the wide range of carrier/options – keeps them all competing for our business as well as yours. FWIW – what we’ve negotiated for 1-3 day international delivery services for you to utilize are less than a lot of our USA competitors charge to ship the same product by Air just within the USA. Where you can wait longer, the international mail from $3.99 is pretty low for international delivery as well.
No – what is well beyond our control are the duties and taxes which are different country by country and fully controlled and to the benefit of each country that chooses to impose such. We don’t get any piece of that (if we did, we’d rebate it back in the price). It’s also illegal for us to declare false values or declare goods as gifts as sometimes requested of us. As free trade spreads, hopefully these locally imposed fees will be reduced further and further – but unfortunately out of our control vs. your country’s electorate/leadership.
As for a location in Europe – OWC is working on long range plans to have operations for direct fulfillment in both Europe and South America primary for distribution to support local dealer from which our product is also available from right now in every populated continent on the globe.
