Other World Computing has named Jonathan Ellihou as its new Vice President of Channel Sales. Jonathan will be in charge of refining OWC’s existing reseller channel strategy on a global basis, and managing and growing OWC’s network of distributors.
“The expansion of our reseller network will further strengthen our ability to meet the needs of our customers in the United States and international markets,” said Larry O’Connor, CEO and Founder of OWC. “Jonathan’s depth of knowledge in technology products and his 20+ years of experience in successfully building reseller channels will greatly benefit our customers and help OWC strengthen its position in select markets around the world.”
Before joining OWC, Jonathan had been the East Coast Channel Manager for G-Technology, a provider of data storage solutions for content creators in audio and video production, and in photography. While at G-Technology, Jonathan played an integral part in developing the G-Technology authorized dealer program, their minimum advertised price policy as well as design and implementation of marketing initiatives for the media and entertainment market sector.
Prior to G-Technology, Jonathan was a worldwide sales executive for Broadfield Distributing Inc., which is a wholesale distributor of video editing and production equipment. During his time at Broadfield Distributing, Jonathan established and developed a worldwide dealer channel growing their business two-fold.
Jonathan attended City University of New York – Hunter College, and enjoys photography and oil painting.
