With the arrival of iOS 12, some owners may have feared a drop in support for their iDevice. Well, fear not! Apple has continued its strong support for legacy devices, announcing that all devices compatible with iOS 11 will remain compatible with iOS 12. Here is a complete list of compatible devices.

Every site that follows Apple posts this list. What would be more helpful is to also list features compatibility…list the features or limitations by each device, or list the new features and which devices will be able to do them.
I.E. will all devices be able to take full advantage of Siri Shortcuts?
…just like I can put newer macOS’s on my older Mac, but, it won’t do Apple Pay w/iPhone, it doesn’t do all continuity features, etc.
