OWC reboots OWC RADiO with host Cirina Catania and the OWC RADiO Creative Club in Booth #C2952.
OWC announced today that they are re-launching OWC RADiO with OWC RADiO’s Creative Club podcast during the NAB Show. The show will be hosted by filmmaker and tech maven Cirina Catania, recorded live from booth #C2952 in Central Hall, and posted to OWC’s Facebook page and on USTimes.biz as well.
OWC RADiO is being re-booted as a unique podcast where tech innovators and the creatives they support will have dynamic discussions about the stories they are telling and the processes they use to bring those stories to life. Special NAB 2019 episodes will be available on OWC’s Facebook page (@owcdigital) beginning on Saturday, April 6, as a lead-up to NAB, and will kick off with a conversation with OWC Founder and CEO, Larry O’Connor.
Some of the guests scheduled to appear live during NAB show week include:
- Artist Beeple (Mike Winkleman)
- Producer Todd Fisher
- Andy Cochrane of Springbok Entertainment
- Mads Mikkelsen and Ryan Morrison of Metronome.dk
- Scott McLeslie of Village Studios
- Artist Barton Damer of Already Been Chewed
- Justin Henderson of “Henny Tha Bizness” and Terri Morgan of Luma Touch
- Ryan Connolly of Triune Films and Neill Barham of FiLMiC
Visitors are welcome to stop by booth #C2952, relax on a comfy stool and charge their devices as they listen to inspiring dialogues and share some time with others of a like mind.
“A re-boot of OWC RADiO is something that we have been discussing with Cirina for quite some time now,” said Larry O’Connor, OWC Founder and CEO. “When we talked about the opportunity to make it happen during the NAB Show, with the Creative Club, it was just so obvious that this is the perfect time, because that space is all about ideas, innovations, creations. So for OWC to be able to facilitate these creative exchanges and stories, we had to jump in, and we can’t wait to see where this goes!”
“I am absolutely thrilled to be hosting OWC RADiO,” said Cirina Catania. “The “Creative Club” podcast at the NAB Show is a fun and unique addition to the convention this year. This debut of our ongoing podcast, which will continue into the future, is a tribute to all creatives using technology to make wonderful works, whether they be actors, filmmakers, musicians, photographers, artists, or the clever people who put it all together behind the scenes. I’m excited to get this off the ground and be a part of this new and exciting conversation.”
A new OWC RADiO podcast will be available to download every other Saturday, following the NAB Show. Listeners can find new episodes on OWC’s Facebook page and on iTunes.
OWC thanks our NAB 2019 media partners, Lumberjack System and Puget Systems, who will be demonstrating their products in OWC RADiO booth #C2952 during NAB.
OWC Radion? Darn! I was hoping OWC was going to be selling a feature-rich SDR (software-defined radio) device that worked with iPhones and iPads. TV, radio, even airport ATC on an iPhone. Apple won’t build it, so someone else should.
For those who don’t know SDR chips costing under $8 can achieve through programming what would cost thousands in electronic hardware. So far, they’ve been the domain of hackers and military devices.
