OWC is proud to partner with the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation and the Museum of Making Music
Commonly referred to as “NAMM,” the association and its world-famous trade shows serve as a hub for people seeking the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology, and sound and lighting equipment. OWC attends the NAMM show every year to showcase its products and meet with hundreds of industry professionals. These face-to-face interactions help us keep in step with the tech needs of artists around the globe.
About the Museum of Making Music
The NAMM museum – the Museum of Making Music – was founded in 1998 to celebrate the music products industry’s rich history from 1900 to today. Through unique exhibitions, vibrant and varied live music performances, and innovative educational programs, the Museum shares the accomplishments and impact of the people who make, sell, and use musical instruments and products.
The Museum is a program division of the NAMM Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and receives operational support from NAMM. Revenue is also raised through donations from businesses and corporations like OWC, government and foundation grants, museum and program admissions, Museum Store sales, special fundraising events such as the annual gala, and memberships.
OWC is committed to the Museum of Making Music
OWC believes music and music education are vital to a healthy and vibrant society – this is especially true for our youth. Having a creative outlet for positive expression builds character, strengthens the mind, and uplifts the soul. This is needed today now more than ever.
Several students from the Museum of Making Music wrote letters and drew pictures, thanking their supporters. Notes of impact like these show that we can all make a difference.
