Apple today announced the dates for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, including the date of the kickoff keynote.
Apple says WWDC 2025 will commence on June 9 and run through June 13, 2025. A keynote will kickoff the festivities on June 9 and Apple will also “host an in-person experience on that day that will provide developers with the opportunity to watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union at Apple Park, meet with Apple experts one-on-one and in group labs, and take part in special activities.”
During the keynote, you can expect to see the unveiling of Apple’s next major versions of its iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. This year, it’s rumored that iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16 will get major design overhauls. The redesigns are said to make each operating system look and feel more like the other, with heavy design cues and themes brought over from visionOS, the operating system at the heart of Apple’s Vision Pro headset. You can read more about the rumored changes here.
Apple hasn’t yet announced the time for the keynote, but it’s likely it will be around 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern like usual.
