Should You Shoot Photos in RAW or JPEG/HEIC? It Depends!

Whether you take photos with your phone or with a dedicated camera, you’ve probably sat staring at that file format setting and wondered which file format will give you the best results. Luckily, our friend Jon is here to break it all down for you in no time flat. Check out the video below and get more out of your photography workflow.

Just remember:

  • Shoot RAW if you need the ultimate flexibility for editing later.
  • Shoot JPEG/HEIC if you don’t plan on making intensive edits and want to save space.
