While the vast majority of camera users out there shoot with the tried and true SD card, it’s always good to know when you have other options—especially when those other options can save you loads of time.
As our buddy Jon explains in the video below, there are definitely situations and workflows where you will want to invest in upgrading from an SD card to a CFexpress card. If you’re primarily shooting still photography and generally only take a few dozen photos at a time, you’re well served by an SD card. But if you’re shooting hundreds of high resolution stills or hours of high resolution video? That’s when the very speedy offload speeds of a CFexpress card are a lifesaver.
