As we mentioned in an earlier Rocket Yard post, "Intel Introduces Thunderbolt 4: What Is It and Does It Matter?" Intel released the specifications and expectations of Thunderbolt 4 last week. This has caused quite a stir, initiated a lot of conversation, and even created a bit of fear in those who are heavily invested in Thunderbolt 3.

OWC announces the release of SoftRAID Lite and Lite XT for Windows. This is the first time SoftRAID is available for Windows users, who now have a cross-platform solution and can share RAID volumes between OSes. Available for purchase now; users who have previously purchased SoftRAID 5 Lite XT with their OWC solution will receive this Windows edition for free.

The night before a software release is always an exciting time. This is not because we are still changing the code up until the last minute, I usually freeze the code (stop making changes) a week before we ship as this gives us plenty of time for final testing. It's exciting because we finally get to release what our team has spent so many months designing, coding, and testing. This release is no exception.
