Wireless Charging May Not Be the Answer

We have many great conveniences today, so is it necessary or beneficial for wireless power to be one of them? Outside of sealed, low power devices where a physical connection would be a detriment, I would personally say no. The little things add up, and wireless charging could be an unneeded step back for a world trying to address its carbon footprint.

Beware of Gift Card Scams

There’s Still Time to Take Advantage of the Section 179 Tax Break

The New Year is drawing closer, but there is still time for U.S. taxpayers to take advantage of the Section 179 depreciation deduction before 2019 comes to a close. To put it simply, Section 179 allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year. That means that if you buy or lease qualifying equipment, you can deduct the full purchase price from your gross income. Taking this deduction isn’t mandatory, but if you don’t take it for the year the equipment is purchased, you don’t get another chance.

Bear with me for some random musings including an Eric Clapton, Karate Kid, Babe, and a children's book reference you may not understand. Apologies if that so happens to be the case, I'm a bit tired. t's after 3:00 AM, December 10, 2019, Central Standard Time here in the U.S. Marques Brownlee spotted the release date of the all-new 2019 Mac Pro several days ago, and many outlets have confirmed the date, rebroadcasting the news. So, can we order now? It's after midnight, and I've got you on my mind! Patience, grasshopper, patience.
