MacSysAdmin 2020: OWC & The Transition to Thunderbolt 4

Not a lot of people have heard of the MacSysAdmin conference held in Gothenburg, Sweden, every fall. My first time there three years ago, I didn’t know what to expect. Here’s a conference which is so unlike the many conferences I have attended in the past. It is held in a small city in Sweden, there is only one track, it has a limited number of attendees, and all the speakers are available for all four days to answer anybody’s questions or discuss topics of interest.

Retro Apple: How HyperCard Changed the World One Stack at a Time

HyperCard was a powerful, yet extremely easy to use tool for creating “stacks” — essentially flat-file databases that used hyperlinks as a way of navigating a stack of “cards”. You have to understand that at the time HyperCard was first released in 1987, there was no World Wide Web, so the concept of hyperlinks was completely new.
