Rating: 3/5 Magic Mouse just OK December 11, 2016 I usually find MacSales.com and OWC to be an outstanding resource for Mac equipment. Sometimes I buy refurbs as I did in this case. The thing with mice is they can get dropped and abused in various ways (like getting slammed on the desk) which take them from flaky to intolerable. And the Magic Mouse in my experience an oddly flaky device because of the way the clicks are handled, and the touch surface. All of my Magic Mice are like that. But this Mouse, well, it has never really operated very well. It was just tolerable from the start. The right click was always off a bit - a little tricky to get it to click properly and now it is not reliable - often times won't click on any selection, so I am having to retire it. Frankly I don't really blame MacSales. I don't think I would ever buy a refurbed Magic Mouse anywhere again mainly because of how mice can get easily damaged, and since the Magic Mouse is a bit flaky to start with. If you want a Magic Mouse, by a new one

Each has it's own Bluetooth code, so I can have them in close proximity to each other and they only talk to the Mac they are linked to. They are intuitive to use and their battery life is exceptional. I highly recommend them to any user of an Apple product.

Rating: 5/5 Enjoyable April 14, 2016 I was replacing a failed wireless mouse from my PC days, so thought the Magic Mouse would be a good choice. The device seems well made, as one would expect, but it is really easy to use. The click stroke is perfect, not to light, or difficult. The surface of the mouse as a kind of a "track pad" for scroll features (note: it is not a track pad!) works surprisingly well. I bought a used version that had an "excellent" rating. Could not tell it was used at all. I really enjoy this mouse!
