Purchased to install current macOS versions on my unsupported iMac. Install went smoothly and soon after installed Mojave on the new drive. A couple of weeks later Catalina was released and you can guess what followed. Yep, now running Catalina as I type this. One unexpected side benefit is with the original HDD running High Sierra retained it serves as an alternate boot drive. All in All, great product and functions as advertised. Highly recommend this kit for anyone looking to extend the life of a still functional iMac.
