We’ve always been proud of our great selection of products at OWC, but one other thing we’re particularly proud of is what we like to call the OWC Difference. The OWC Difference is our commitment to customer service from the moment a product is purchased and beyond!
In fact, the OWC Difference has caught the attention of both customers and reviewers recently. Check out below for just some of what’s been said recently.
2013 Mac Pro Memory Upgrade
The 2013 Mac Pro is certainly a powerhouse, but with OWC you can get even better performance by upgrading your Mac Pro’s processor and by installing up to 128GB of Memory.
Jim Tanous of Tek Revue recently weighed OWC’s RAM upgrade for the 2013 Mac Pro against the competition and pointed to OWC’s above-and-beyond service that makes the OWC Difference: “… we’d have to tip the scales in favor of OWC (for) … the company’s thoughtful inclusion of the spudger for the RAM release lever, and its outstanding customer service.”
Check out our Turnkey service and see what we can do for your Mac Pro, whether you’re looking to upgrade your new 2013 model or extending the life of your older model.
NewerTech miniStack MAX
Terry Gardner ofthe Chicago Tribune got her hands on the NewerTech miniStack MAX late last month and came away impressed by the flexibility the miniStack MAX offers along with its storage capacity. “… the miniStack gave me the ability to still watch DVDs on my computer. And its 4TB of storage is eight times more room than iMac ever offered,” Gardner writes.
The miniStack MAX offers a Blu-ray/CD/DVD optical drive, SD card reader and USB powered hub in a single elegant aluminum finish enclosure with now up to 5.0TB of storage.
The OWC Difference In Action
OWC customer Jason reached out to our trained Tech Support staff with a hardware issue recently and left with high praise for Team OWC.
“I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing help I received from Kevin yesterday. I contacted OWC tech help with a question regarding my miniStack enclosure. I simply wanted to know if daisy chaining via USB was possible with my Mac mini. He asked why not use the FW800 port and I told him it was shorted. He suggested cleaning up the port with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip if the damage wasn’t too severe. So I tried that and lo and behold I was able to use the faster port again. He could have easily just answered the question and moved on but instead dug deeper into the issue and was able to get my original setup working again. Fantastic service. I hope all queries are as helpful as this one!”
