The online Apple Store was updated early this morning with the standard message stating “We’re busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon.” This is the typical message before a special event from the company and almost always means new or updated products are on the way.
Speculation points to a release of Mac OS X Yosemite as well as a refresh for the iPad line. There has also been talk of a Retina iMac model and a possible update to the Mac mini, which hasn’t seen an update in about two years. Of course, there could be other surprises that have been under the radar thus far.
We’ll have the details for you here on the Rocket Yard after the event has wrapped up!
PowerBook G5? ;-)
Updated Mac mini!
Yippie!!!!
I’ve been waiting 2 years. ;-)
Agreed. And a cheaper price!
I think they ruined it though. The RAM is listed as “configurable” and no mention of user-accessible. Sounds like it’s soldered.
They also deleted the quad-core model, thus, no server model.
