As you may already know, Spreadsheet Day was celebrated last week on Oct. 17. Spreadsheet Day is acknowledged every year in celebration of the release of VisiCalc – the first spreadsheet for personal computers originally released for the Apple II – and to honor “joy and challenges of working with spreadsheets.”
There’s no doubt that spreadsheets have saved a lot of people a lot of time over the past 35 years or so. And this interesting historical article from 30 years ago points out the impact that computers have had on revolutionizing the program.
But as the article warns … “Any computer program, no matter how costly, sophisticated, or popular, will yield worthless results if the data fed into it is faulty.”
That’s one of the reasons that we worked with the very accountants who depend on hitting the right digits the first time to perfect the NewerTech Wireless Aluminum Keypad.
The NewerTech Keypad features the ideal key-throw, feel, design, size and connectivity to make sure that you’ll be accurate when inputting all of your important data.
So, make sure you honor spreadsheets each Oct. 17 and every day by making sure you’re hitting the right numbers with the NewerTech Keypad!
