There’s a lot that goes into capturing the action of a professional football game. And this episode of “Inside the NFL” shows us how the evolution of technology has made the process of bringing highlights to your living room simpler and faster.
NFL Films takes viewers behind the scenes to demonstrate just how the league gets footage from the field to the screen. In the video, the NFL Films team relays the footage directly from the camera’s media card and transfers the data to OWC SSDs via NewerTech Voyager. From there, the data is sent to a central location in New Jersey “where a team of people sort through thousands of files.”
It’s great to see OWC SSDs and Voyager Docks used during NFL Films’ process of bringing us highlights from the games almost instantaneously!
