With macOS Catalina, music, videos, podcasts, and audiobooks are organized into their own dedicated apps — named, appropriately enough, Music, TV, and Podcasts, and Apple Books. You can also access your iTunes Store purchases in the appropriate apps.
However, when you open Apple Music, you won’t see a link to the iTunes Store. Why? Perhaps Apple prefers you to subscribe to Apple Music instead of buying songs and albums. Who knows how the tech giant thinks? However, you can make the iTunes Store icon magically reappear. Here’s how:
Open the Music app (which still sports the iTunes icon):
Click Music in the menu bar and choose Preferences.
Under the General tab, click the checkbox next to Show: iTunes Store.
Voila! Now iTunes Store will appear in the left-hand sidebar.
The Books app still has a Book Store link atop the home screen. However, in the TV app, you’ll have to scroll down to find the “New Movies” section where you can buy or rent movies or TV shows.
I cant download any app!
My I Phone says it is disable and to connect to itunes?
I can’t download any app!
In trying to locate my itunes library in Catalina I clicked on this site. NOTHING on here tells me how to access library in itunes. I’m spending hour upon hour re-downloading cd’s to my macbook.
