“It’s been an amazing journey so far, yet we have barely begun.”Steve Jobs
Apple turned 45 on April 1, 2021, and though it certainly is not as monumental as a 40th or 50th anniversary, it did not go unnoticed by Apple’s CEO. In a company-wide memo, Tim Cook took the opportunity to remember the past and look forward to the future.
“While some things about Apple have changed over these many years, the important things haven’t,” said Cook, “we have never stopped setting the pace that others try to match.”
Though not founded until 12 years later (1988), OWC has also changed over the years. All April Fools jokes aside, we have been and always will be committed to providing the industry’s best memory, docks, external storage, SSDs, and much more to upgrade and complement your Macs and other Apple products. We are proud to have served the Apple community all this time and look forward to continuing our friendship with Cupertino’s finest for many more years to come.
After addressing the challenges we have all faced this past year, Cook closes his letter with an affirmation to his employees that can—and should—apply to us all. Regardless of who you are, where you are, or what you do, you may just find it worth sharing…"Remember that none of us will be here for the end of the story, but it's on all of us to make sure it's one worth telling."
