Mark Rubel is a record producer, engineer, musician, author, consultant, expert witness, and educator. Since 1980, Mark has made thousands of recordings at his Pogo Studio in Champaign, IL (now located in Nashville) and elsewhere, including with such clients as Hum, Alison Krauss, Rascal Flatts, Jeff Coffin, Henry Kaiser, Fall Out Boy, Ludacris, Adrian Belew, Luther Allison, Jay Bennett, Melanie, Ian Hobson, Henry Butler, and many more. Mark is Director of Education and Instructor at The Blackbird Academy, an intensive recording school at famed Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN.
