- Sylvia Massy is a record producer, mixer and engineer, and author. Recorded/mixed/produced Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Slayer, Donovan, the Black Crowes, Danzig, Sevendust, Powerman 5000, Beatie Boys, Sublime, Dishwalla, Built To Spill and many more. She is also a visiting professor at Berklee College Of Music, author of the beautifully illustrated book Recording Unhinged, and owner of the Museum Studio in Ashland Oregon.
- Michael Brauer is a Grammy-winning New York mix engineer. His many credits include “Best Pop Vocal Album” for John Mayer’s Continuum, “Best Alternative Album” for Coldplay’s Parachutes, and also “Best Rock Album” for Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends”. Other artists include The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Jeff Buckley, David Byrne, Paul McCartney, Ben Folds, Willie Nelson, KT Tunstall, and Martha Wainwright. He also invented the technique known as ‘Brauerizing’, in which mixes are routed through multiple compressors and busses to create a blended sound.
- Dave Pensado is a Grammy Award-winning mix engineer. He mixes between 200 & 250 songs a year at Larabee Studios and records artists. He has a weekly show called Pensado’s Place interviewing guests and teaching recording and mixing. The annual Pensado Awards is like the Grammy Awards but for engineers & producers. Clients include Jill Scott, Beyoncé, T-Pain, Earth, Wind & Fire, Mariah Cary, Macy Gray, Chrisette Michele, Toni Braxton, Michael Jackson, Bonnie Tyler, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Whitney Houston, Shakira, Mary J Blige, Maroon 5, Usher & more.
