Though our iPhones have gotten bigger and bigger over the years, our hands have not (well, unless you were 3 years old in 2007). The good thing is that the wider phones have allowed larger keyboards, making more room for some of us with chubby fingers to make fewer errors.
I just photographed the Nano-texture display on top of an iMac with ordinary glass. The glass is really dark, absorbing light like velvet. It’s darker than its own shadow. Unlike previous matte screens, this does not have a frosty look that washes out dark tone, mutes highlights, or softens the image.
Every now and then, I find it necessary to grab an image from a Pages or Word document. You might be lead to think that the process is similar for both applications, but they are not. In fact, this is one of the few cases where it’s in some ways easier to do with Microsoft’s product than Apple’s. Why? I have no idea. But with Word, it is stupid-easy. With Pages, it’s just plain stupid.
