MacRat… I can totally see that, and didn’t take Macs running 2GB of memory into account.
I run Lion on my home machines, a 2008 iMac with 4GB and a 2010 13″ MacBook Pro with 8GB. Both ran faster, and CS3 which isn’t even supported by Adobe for Lion runs much better than it did on Snow Leopard…. which I thought was funny. I figured if my 08 iMac was good, most people would be fine with Lion.
Memory prices are really good now though… so if anyone needs to max out their Mac with a memory upgrade now’s the time…

Heck you can get 8GB for around $50…. that’s just amazing to me. Power up all!
MacRat… thanks for the comment and thanks for listening.
I can backup the comment that Lion can be slower compared to Snow Leopard.
It is VERY slow on a system with only 2GB of memory and the performance increases dramatically when bumping up to 4GB. And this sluggishness is BEFORE launching any apps.
