Many gamers are faced with stereotypes. And we’ve heard them all: gamer’s are antisocial and lazy, or that they all live in their parents’ basements. However, a recently released study by a consulting firm suggests that these preconceived notions some people have are not the case.
A Washington Post article on the report from Thursday takes a closer look at the study, which shows that gamers are, in fact, “more social, more successful and more educated than the non-gaming population.”
