OWC CEO, Employees Accept Ice Bucket Challenge

Other World Computing has joined the efforts to raise money for ALS awareness by taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

OWC founder and CEO Larry O’Connor led team members in Austin, Texas for the challenge, while team members at OWC headquarters in Woodstock, Ill. followed suit! Before taking the plunge, OWC Larry nominated Lloyd Chambers, Timothy Standing of SoftRAID, and Tim Peddecord of Avant Technology for the challenge.

According to the ALS Association website, more than $111 million dollars has been raised from Ice Bucket Challenge donations. Visit the website to find out more about ALS and how you can help.

OWC raised nearly $1,000 all together, which will go to the ALS Association and Les Turner ALS Foundation (a chapter based in Skokie, Ill.). Check out the video of Team OWC taking the challenge below!
