Last week’s refresh of Apple’s iPod lineup brought the first major update to the iPod touch since 2012. The refresh brought not only fresh coats of paint for the iPod models, but also a 64-bit A8 chip and M8 coprocessor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera and new optional 128GB capacity.
The Rocket Yard got its hands on the new Blue 64GB model iPod touch and performed an unboxing for your viewing pleasure. It’s worth noting that the sharp looking new blue shade is darker than the pastel, almost teal shade of blue found on previous generations. The other external change is the elimination of the loop accessory from the rear of the device.
