Where can you listen to great music, play your favorite video games nonstop for four days and help a great cause? At MAGFest, you can join the thousands of enthusiasts who will once again be swarming National Harbor, Md. from Thursday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 21 for the annual festival.
Founded in 2002 and now in its 14th year, the 24-hour-a-day nonprofit Music and Gaming Festival is a four-day party dedicated to the appreciation of video games, music, gaming of all other types, and the gaming community. Last Year’s MAGFest saw 17,000 attendees and this year’s event is expected to bring 20,000. Tickets are very limited, but can still be purchased at MAGFest.org.
There will be hundreds of original and rare arcade and table games along with industry professionals and musicians on hand, and even a designated LAN area. There’s also a nostalgia-inducing Console Room with virtually every video game console ever made including some you might not have even heard of.
And speaking of consoles, OWC has once again donated its DIY Drive Upgrade Kit for the PlayStation 4 console to be put up for auction to benefit Child’s Play. You can even stop by and say “hi” to OWC Bunny who will be on hand in the Console Room.
The MAGFest will take place this Thursday-Sunday at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. For more information, check out MAGFest.org.
