There is still time to enter your songs for a chance to perform at the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival in Columbia, MO alongside The Avett Brothers, Grace Potter, Jason Isbell, Nathaniel Rateliff, Ben Folds, Houndmouth and more! In addition to the festival slot, you can win a cash/gear prize package including gear from OWC Digital.
Entrants can be amateur or professional songwriters, and the winners will be selected by a panel of judges comprised of noted songwriters, producers, and music industry professionals.
Each entry requires the following elements:
- One Song five minutes or less (mp3, CD or cassette)
- A lyric sheet – no lyrics necessary for instrumental compositions
- A payment – $30 per entry (Entry fees from this contest help support the nonprofit John Lennon Educational Tour Bus)
- A completed application
