This is a great choice for moderate users, who don't do a lot of video editing or heavy audio work. That's probably 95% of america. I got this one for my wife whose use is not very taxing on the machine, but is impatient with slow response. It was the perfect choice. I would recommend this item to a friend! What is with the Battery??

The computer seems satisfactory in every way except the battery. It lasts maybe 2 1/2 to 3 hours only. Even when the computer is in sleep mode and closed the battery drains to about 20% by late afternoon. I am trying to reset it by letting it run until the computer shuts off and then recharging until it is at 100%. I am on my 3rd run of this and hopefully that will fix it. The computer arrived in good condition, updated to the latest system software. If OWC could automatically switch all Canadian originating purchasing orders to its Canadian store, that would simplify processes. And quicken shipping.

Exterior in good condition. One minor patch of a slightly weird texture. Not sure if the fan being super loud is a sign of this particular laptop not having enough testing during refurb process or maybe just a sign of the original Mac. Nice MacBook Air at reasonable price

Looks like since Apple stopped making new laptop with Intel chips, folks who wanted to continue working with x64 VMs, there are limited options and what ever options are available emulate and do not run virtual machine natively on Apple Macbook Pro/Air. OWC used helped to get a new looking Macbook Air for my family. I would have 5 stars but warranty makes skeptic as these are not covered by Apple Support. Some of items in these macbook are hard to replace. I had my office laptop with broken screen and was replaced free of cost by Apple as it was still under 3 year purchased warranty. Yet to get experience from OWC additional warranty I purchased. I would recommend this item to a friend!
