there is no “macbook pro” on the bottom of the screen!
this is NOT the real macbook :D, crazy soldered *expletive deleted*
You recon, what will be performance differnce between the standard Apple SSD and the OWC SSD? I went onto OWC SSD (and i reccomend it to all my mac-freinds) from HDD. I’ve seen that Apple said about 500mb/s. But it’s too general. The reason i ask it that i’m to decide to get a 2.3ghz MBP or a 2.6 with 16gb of RAM of course and wonder if OWC SSD will be cheaper and faster.
Doesn’t logic board hold up to 1 or 2TB drives??? Phisically i mean.
Physically the flash memory drive is not a form factor we currently offer. Details in our most recent post: http://blog.macsales.com/14090-not-a-lot-of-options-for-macbook-pro-w-retina-display
It will be interesting to see what happens when you plug a display into each of the 2 Thunderbolt port in addition to the HDMI port.
I’m assuming the graphics can’t handle 3 external displays, but it would be fun to try. :-)
