We at The Rocket Yard are incredibly happy to have helped create a space over the past 12 years where open ideas and discussions are plentiful, informative, and engaging. From new users to hardened veterans of technology, the camaraderie, helpfulness, and insight gained from every angle and opinion is something we can all be proud of. We also know that our community of readers is very dedicated to who we are and what we do – and for that, we are very grateful!
Have Something to Say?
Apart from our crack team of writers, we occasionally have guest contributors sharing their insight, opinions, and knowledge. And the best contributions are from those who know what makes our blog tick, appreciate what we do, and have benefitted from the blog in some way – hopefully, this is you!
Do you have a tech tip, handy computer trick, or “how to?” A software review or recommendation? A love for space-related stuff? A knack for creative use initiatives around music, film, or photography? An opinion on a piece of hardware, or a story about using technology in your workflow or everyday life? (Bonus points for how OWC products help!)
Fancy Yourself a Writer?
If you are a writer with something to share and would like a platform to share it from, perhaps the Rocket Yard blog is the place! If you don’t fancy yourself a wordsmith but have some decent writing skills and something to share, maybe this forum can be a place for you as well. If you have something to share but struggle stringing two logical sentences together, well… this might not be the place for you. :-)
We are not expressly looking for paid contributors at this time, rather build community and expand our collective voice. But that doesn’t mean a negotiated partnership can’t be established in the future if your writing blows our minds, generates a lot of attention and engagement, and the timing and fit are right.
Blast Off!
If you are interested, please submit your original (very important!) article content to rocketyard@macsales.com, and we will thoughtfully evaluate them for inclusion on the blog. If you have screenshots or images to help convey the point of the post and engage with the audience (which is highly recommended), please include them as well. Written content may be submitted as a text file, PDF, or (preferably) in Word or Pages.
Depending upon the volume of submissions we receive, you may not hear back from us right away. But we will let you know as soon as we can if the quality and content work well for the blog, and do our best to be as descriptive and helpful as possible in our response.
